Thank you for helping with the Income Replacement claim. This was a difficult time when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Having the Income Replacement Plan in place meant I was able to put a manager in place to run the business.

Trauma Claim

I was referred to Warren Borlase in August 2013 for a meeting to discuss Shareholder and Key Person Insurance.

At the first meeting Warren enquired if I had Trauma Insurance due to a heart attack two years prior. I advised I was not sure of the existing Trauma Insurance and Life Insurance in place.

To my surprise I had Trauma Insurance for $92,000. Warren processed the Trauma claim and the claim was paid within 2 weeks.

Trauma Claim - March 2013

It was a shock to have a heart attack. An Angioplasty surgery operation was completed.

Income Replacement Claim

At the start of 2014 I made an Income Replacement claim with Warren.

Warren met with myself in hospital and processed the Income Replacement claim efficiently, dealt with the AMP claims department on my behalf, and liaised with my accountant to have the claim expedited.

This enabled me to appoint a manager for my business while I was off work.

Income Replacement Claim – Breast Cancer 2011

It was a surprise to be diagnosed with breast cancer. Initially I had put in place Income Replacement insurance the previous year under the advice from Warren.

When processing the claim it was done in a timely and professional manner.

Being the main bread winner of my family at the time the Income Replacement became our main income. We would have really struggled if we had not followed Warren’s advice at the time.

Income Replacement Claim – Stroke 2011

While at hockey practice I did not feel too good. I was diagnosed with a stroke.

Under the specified illness benefit of the AMP Income Replacement Plan I received twenty-six weeks Income Replacement benefit.

It was a financial relief to have the insurance while I was off work recovering from the stroke.

Income Replacement Claim

The financial adviser at the time had not followed up to check if I had returned to work. My depression had not improved and I was not in good health to return to work.
